Lion & Elephant Square sightings in South Africa

Happy Monday Everyone!

I just received the new Knit-A-Square Newsletter and was amazed to see my lion and elephant squares I created in August to pop their faces into some of the pictures!

It is so fun to see them with all of the other wonderful squares they have joined to make these very special blankets.

I love that even the smallest things can make a meaningful impact in the world.
I hope you all had a wondeful Halloween weekend! I cannot wait to come around and see all of the costumes!

We were buried in 20+" of snow here in Boulder, CO so Emmitt's turtle costume also became a snow suit!
What a fun weeeknd!

Please tell us one of your halloween stories! We would love to hear it!

That is so cool Melissy, but it doesn't surprise me that you are making smiles happen all over the world. Hug your little frogman Emmy for me!

It must be such a wonderful feeling to see something you made with your own hands incorporated into such a wonderful project. You do so much good work.

Hi Melissa
I know from myself how it feels to have someone add a special touch and add a smile to something I have been given.
Those happy faces will add to the happiness they already felt in just getting one of those blankets.
You do more than just give, you touch lives and put smiles and love in peoples hearts.
You really know how to make someone feel loved.
What a gift you are.
We are so lucky to have been touched by you

love

How lovely Melissa to see how you and your wonderful work is appreciated by everyone else as well as your knit-a-square recipients. Just one of your squares in the blanket layouts makes such a difference and turns each of those blankets into a both a work of art and love.
