11 New Mother Bears are on their way to Africa!

Hi everyone!

Archie and I have been having FUN the last few months making new bears for The Mother Bear Project!

R-Chee & I love The Mother Bear Project!

All of these bears will soon be in the arms of wonderful children who will receive a big bear hug from us to them!

You can knit or crochet your bears with their wonderful easy and fun patterns.

The best part is that everyone can help these wonderful children through the Mother Bear Project even if you do not knit or crochet in lots of FUN ways!

New Black Pug Painting ~ Design A95 ~ Innocent Pug ~ "Who Me?"

I am so excited to introduce my newest pug painting to you!

He is an innocent little guy who NEVER gets into any trouble!

I have titled it ...

"Who Me?"

 This is the original sketch on wood that I did to begin.

You can see I have made my first brush strokes to shade in the fur.

The next steps are  the eyes, the ears

and mouth!

Next are the fine lines and background to really bring him to life!

Ta Da!

That was so much FUN, and I am so excited to share him with you!

Happy 5th Birthday Archie!!!

Happy Birthday to my sweet baby R-Chee!

Today Archie turns 5 years old and we are celebrating him today with lots of treats and toys!

R-Chee makes me laugh everyday and he is my biggest joy!

I put together a collage of photos from when he was 5 weeks old until today for you to enjoy. :)

Mother Bear Sighting in Botswana ~ Twin Hearts!

Happy Monday everyone!

R-Chee and I are so excited!

Another one of our Mother Bears has been spotted with his new forever child to love!

We introduced you to him back in May when we sent him and his brother off to the Mother Bear Project.

The Mother Bear Project is a magical charity that sends bears made with their own pattern by loving hands all over the world to children in Africa whose families & lives have been affected by the HIV/Aids epidemic.

I have been crocheting bears for them for over 6 years and everyone is special and unique and filled with love and joy!

Monday Morning Musings ~ Grab Your Pug & Get in Close!

Happy Monday everyone!

I had so FUN kicking back & coloring with my crayons this weekend!

I love appreciating the stillness of Sunday mornings.

Before the sun rises, it feels like everyone in the world is still asleep except for the little birds singing outside and my sweet R-Chee looking up at me with his groggy pug eyes.

It is the perfect time to grab my crayons and a cup of tea and color the morning away!

Friday Funnies ~ Hitting The Trail with R-Chee

Happy Friday everyone!

It is me...

R-Chee!

Guess what we get to do today?

That's right...

We get to Take A Hike!

into the mountains that is! :)

Here we are at the trail head...

It is just like the Yellow Brick Road but with little brown pebbles instead!

It has been so rainy this spring for the Boulder area that everything is still green... just like The Emerald City in the Wizard of OZ!

Come on everyone!

It is beautiful up here!

...and we even get to take rest breaks for lots of hugs... 

and kisses!

What a FUN day we are having!

Oooo!

The afternoon sprinkles are coming back to give the grass a little drink.

That sounds refreshing!

I will wait here like this and get a little drinky poo too!
