I have titled it ...

"Lean On Me"

I have taken lots of photos of it for you as I painted it so you can see it pop to life...

This is the original sketch on wood that I did to begin.

You can see I have made my first brush strokes to start shading in the fur.

The next step is the eyes and ears!

Noses...

and mouths!

Next are the fine lines and background to really bring them to life!

They are approximately 10" high from tip of ears to toes and 8 " across from paw to paw.

I happily cut, sew, hand embroider and stuff each doll.

I thought it might be a quite a challenge...

But, as it turns out... it is really quite easy!

All you have to do is get behind them and run! :)

It turns out, puggies are not as complicated as I thought!

I think Archie will make a very good minion ...

Next I will get him to hoover up all the peas and grains and noodles I dropped from eating my breakfast this morning...

I LOVE making custom sweater vests and our friends, The Urban Hounds, had the brilliant idea to make a Star Trek Collection for their family to enjoy!

They have a whole wonderful crew of pugs and other doggies for you to meet on their blog!
