I just love how it turned out!

Friday Funnies ~ Sports Night with Jimmie!

Happy Friday everyone!

It is me...

Jimmie!

Yay!

It is a Holiday Weekend and time to PLAY!

Two of my favorite things to say are...

"Come Here Archie... You are so CUTE!"

and

"Come and Play with me Archie!"

I have been saying this to Archie all day but, he is a little bit worried about playing with me.

Don't tell anyone, but I think my pug, Archie, is part chicken, and even though I am a parakeet, I am more of a doggie than he is!

I''ll show you what I mean...

I love to play ball...

while Archie would rather be a cheerleader on the side lines.

and I love to play frisbee!

Archie just sits & watches it fly over his head and then looks at you like a pug statue wondering who is going to go and get it.

Funny little guy!

He has a lot to learn! :) 

Well... I will train him to play games.

We have all weekend to play!

Friday Funnies ~ Rise & Shine! Breakfast is served!

Happy Friday everyone!

It is me...

Jimmie!

I am so excited because it is my favorite time of the day!

It is time for breakfast!

Yay!

My mom makes me fresh food and serves it to me twice a day and then plays with me!

I love eating my food and then hopping over to dad's cereal bowl and diving into his too!

Here is a video of me eating Grape Nuts, Fresh Pineapple, berries yogurt and washing it all down with some milk!

LOL!

Now all I need is dad's sleeve to wipe my face!

Today is going to be a good day!

Happy 1st Hatchday Jimmie!

It is me...

Guess what?

Today is my 1st Hatchday celebration!

One year ago today I hatched out of my shell at Colorado Budgies Aviary where I was lovingly hand-fed & raised by my first mom, Amy.

She is the most wonderful breeder!

My mom & dad took me home with them 8 weeks later and here I am a year later!

I learned how to...

Play with MY PUG, R-Chee

Fly to my mom's shoulder whenever she calls me.

and...

TALK up a storm!

I can say...

He is a fast little bugger!

Luckily he is a Chatty Cathy too!

the whole time so I know where he is.

No chance of him getting run over or sat on in this game!

But, as it turns out... it is really quite easy!

All you have to do is get behind them and run! :)

It turns out, puggies are not as complicated as I thought!

I think Archie will make a very good minion ...

Friday Funnies ~ Hail Yeah! We get to go to Vail!

We are reporting today from Vail, CO! :)

Pack your bags because we all get to go to Vail today!

It is beeeautiful and relaxing here!

Dad is taking lots of photos to share with you!

Here is the gondola that takes people up the mountain to bike or hike down!

...and here are the bikes!

After a day of FUN outdoor activities... 

We can do some indoor ones too like shop at the nearby outlet mall!

I do not like to go into the stores but prefer to do a little window shopping since I do not get an allowance to spend.

I am paid for good deeds and behavior in Cheerios and I found out quickly that the stores do not let me buy treats and toys with Cheerios!

What do they know?

Jimmie and I both LOVE them!

That was a FULL day!

I am pooped!

Now we will tuck ourselves in and watch movies together!

I will just rest my eyes before dinner...

..and I will sing for mine!

We are ready for the popcorn before the shows start!

I will just rest my eyes again until they start!

Friday Funnies ~ Meet Jimmie the Fiber Artist

Happy Friday everyone!

It is me...

Jimmie!

Today is a fiber filled Friday here at my house!

I have been very busy helping my mom with FUN needle felting and crochet projects!

We will show you the crochet projects next week and the needle felting today!

Do you remember the Tunisian crochet doll she made of me a few months back?

Well, we decided that it was just not soft or fluffy enough to be me...

So guess what?

We needle felted a layer of wool onto my tummy and now I am fiber filled and fluffy just like I am in real life!

Ta Da!

Remember... You can always go back and change things you thought were finished when you made them!

New ideas, inspirations and the freedom to change things are gifts for us to explore and enjoy everyday!

That is the beauty of both Life and Art!

Here are two short movies of me helping my mom create our next Tunisian Crochet project that we will reveal to you next week!

We had so much FUN making them and cannot wait to share them with you!
