Friday Funnies ~ R-Chee is Ready for Vegas Baby!

Happy Friday everyone!

It is me... 

R-Chee!

My pawrents are smiling because they know a secret about me!

They say they knew it from the second they met me when I was just a baby!

My dad calls it my "tell" and that I would never be a good "poker player" since it always gives me away!

They can read me like an open book!

I used to think they were mind readers, but now I know they do not have special powers, I am just a special pug. :)

Do you want to guess what my "tell" is?

What do all of these photos have in common?

Can you see it?

They say when I am unsure about something my body language gives me away!

Most puggies straighten their tails when they are thinking hard or are unsure about something.  I only do that when I am sleeping. :)

Instead, when I am thinking, I bend my wrist on my front paw!

Humph!

Now everyone knows how to read my mind!

I know!

I'll just "shuffle" all the thoughts rattling around in there and everyone will be as confused as me! :)

Who said I wasn't one smart puggy?

Street Photography ~ The Cherry Blossom Festival 2014

I am so excited to show you new work that Fred has just captured while walking down a street in Denver on a hot Summer afternoon!

He was down there on another shoot and bumped into this magical little festival that seemed to have just appeared.

It was a tiny event with about 10 booths filled with beautiful art, people and food.

He captured the moment for us to all enjoy!

Fred's environmental portraiture style instantly whisks the viewer into the scene to enjoy too!

What a Wonderful Wednesday ~ Friends, Food, and Flowers!

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Archie & I are having a wonderful Wednesday here because of you!

He is enjoying his Cowboy Sweater Vest with his other puggy brothers and sisters & mom Ellen G. in IL and his garden today!

What a wonderful idea to spend the day in the garden Webster!

We will do that too!

Let's go outside and see how our gardens are coming and see what treasures we can find...

Oooo!  

Look at the deeeelicious strawberries that are turning red this week!

...and our poppies are popping up everywhere!

Let's go tip toe through them together and see what else we can find!

Friday Funnies ~ Hail Yeah! We get to go to Vail!

We are reporting today from Vail, CO! :)

Pack your bags because we all get to go to Vail today!

It is beeeautiful and relaxing here!

Dad is taking lots of photos to share with you!

Here is the gondola that takes people up the mountain to bike or hike down!

After a day of FUN outdoor activities... 

We can do some indoor ones too like shop at the nearby outlet mall!

I do not like to go into the stores but prefer to do a little window shopping since I do not get an allowance to spend.

I am paid for good deeds and behavior in Cheerios and I found out quickly that the stores do not let me buy treats and toys with Cheerios!

What do they know?

Jimmie and I both LOVE them!

That was a FULL day!

I am pooped!

Now we will tuck ourselves in and watch movies together!

I will just rest my eyes before dinner...

..and I will sing for mine!

We are ready for the popcorn before the shows start!

I will just rest my eyes again until they start!

What a magical weekend we are having!

Fred's Photography Adventure to Vienna & Prague ~ April 2014

Happy Monday everyone!

I am so excited to show you Fred's new traveling photographic adventure!

In April, he went to Vienna and Prague in with famed photographer, Joe McNally, along with several other students.

Here he is capturing the perfect shot on a cold evening outing in Prauge with Joe McNally's wife, Annie.

I smiled from ear to ear when he emailed me this photo that night as although I could not tag along on his trek, I was there on the bridge as I made him the warm hat he is wearing! :)
