Friday Funnies ~ R-Chee's Temper Tantrum!

Happy Friday everyone!

It is me...
R-Chee!

Today I thought I would try out a new tactic on helping us doggies get more of what we all want...

Food!

Here I am throwing a TEMPER TANTRUM until I get what I want!

I will let you know how this goes over as soon as my momma's new batch of Shepherd Pies comes out of the oven! :)

Here is the recipe just in case you want your pawrents to make some of these tasty morsels at your house too!

Shepherd's Pie

I N G R E D I E N T S:

1/2 lb ground turkey, beef or chicken
1/8 cup milk
5 small potatoes
1/4 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup shredded carrots

I N S T R U C T I O N S:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Chop potatoes into quarters and boil for about 20 minutes until soft.
Drain pot and mash with milk until creamy.  Set aside.
Spray mini muffin tins with non-stick spray and squish a meatball sized portion into the bottom of each muffin tin.
Sprinkle with peas and carrots.
Scoop a layer of mashed potatoes on top and bake for 20-25 minutes until meat is cooked and potatoes are lightly browned.

Storage:  Refrigerate or freeze unused portions.

Update:

Operation Temper Tantrum failed!

Momma did not reward this behavior!

She just put ear plugs in!

So I thought I would try this... Being adorable!

... and it worked!

Yippeeeee!

Yummy!

Nom! Nom! Nom!

Moral of the story...
You can attract more bees with honey than vinegar!

Here I am blowing kisses to you!

* Meat and potatoes flying out of puggy's munching mouth*

Have a Super Duper Weekend everyone!

Peaceful Pugs ~ Love without Words

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I am so excited to show you my newest pug painting that I just finished!

I titled it...

Peaceful Pugs

It shows the LOVE pugs show us everyday without any words needed. :)

I took photos all the way through my painting process to reveal them springing to life from sketch to the final painting. :)

I just LOVE how it turned out!

Each painting I do is special to me.

I just never know who will appear or what wisdom they will share.

This painting reminds me the important life lesson that...

Our actions speak louder than words.

Show someone how much you love them with a kind gesture today.

It will be felt in their hearts and remembered in their minds more than words can say.

Sneak Peek at my Spring Projects!

Happy Monday everyone!

I have some FUN sneak peeks for you today!

I have been busy crafting this weekend during our Spring snow storm!

We got about 10" of snow here in Boulder!

I LOVE Snow Days!

R-Chee and I have lots of projects on all of our studio tables!
Besides drawing & painting some new pugs for you to enjoy, I am working on two fiber art projects this Spring!

The first one is making 56 crochet granny circles to sew into window treatments for R-Chee's Pug Cave!

They are so relaxing to make in the afternoon's and the evening is devoted to my retro mushroom rug hooking that will decorate the pug cave wall!

What projects are you doing inside and outside this Spring?

Please leave us a note and tell us all about them!

We cannot wait to hear!

It is so FUN sharing our favorite things with each other!

Thank you for always playing with us!

Have a super day everyone!

Friday Funnies ~ Look Deep into my Eyes!

Happy Friday everyone!

It is me...
R-Chee

While my momma is busy in the studio, I have been learning how to hypnotize her!

I want to cast a spell on her so that she will feed me more and think it is of her Free Will!

The first lesson I learned is that you have to get your subject to look deep into your eyes and concentrate and relax.

That is not actually as easy as it sounds since everytime my momma does this, she smiles and gives me a big hug and a kiss!

She never just sits still for one minute!

The 2nd thing I learned is a very important lesson...

Do not practice hypnotizism on yourself in the mirror!

It makes you very, very sleepy and you may even sleep right through dinner like I did after this practice session!

Oh My!

Oh well... maybe I will try some other technique to get more treats...

Like wiping peanut butter on my momma's cheek and then slurping it off.

Yummy!

What FUN things do you have planned for the weekend?

Please leave me a note and let me know!

I cannot wait to hear all about them!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

It is me...
R-Chee!

The Kitchen!

Guess what?

My mom just found a combo of her 3 favorite things at TJ Maxx and she is so excited!

Containers + Color + On Sale!

Look at our neat new Tea and Coffee Station!

She just found these colorful boxes to hold her loose leaf green tea and dad's coffee at more than 50% off!

She just loves how it turned out!

It is so FUN to refresh places you see and use everyday with new colors and textures.

It makes them all brand new again!

That is what SPRING is all about!

New colors, smells, flowers and leaves are popping up everywhere she looks!

My mom is so funny!

The smallest things make her happy!

Melanie just got us this wonderful little fabric ball that is hand embroidered with my name on it!

She put it next to her pug doll and voila... now it is ME!

and she found these yellow corduroy and green velvet pillows at Nordstrom Rack in the clearance bin!

They were the last 2 and only $7.97 each!

WoW!

They really brightened the room and her day!

What new things have you found lately that brighten your day?

Please leave us a note and let us know!
