Our Summer is Blooming!

Happy Monday everyone!

It is meeeee...

R-Chee!

Guess what we have been up to this summer?

We have been enjoying it by taking the time to stop, see & soak in all the wonderful things around us!

Like ... cooler breezes that have arrived this Summer that rarely come in July!

Enjoying the rain that falls from the clouds that gather in the bright sunny skies every afternoon.

Appreciating the flowers that pop their heads up at us!

... and creating lots of art together and then sharing it with you!

 My mom and I have had so much FUN drawing, coloring, crocheting, sewing and learning that our Summer has been flying by!

Friday Funnies ~ Hitting The Trail with R-Chee

Happy Friday everyone!

It is me...

R-Chee!

Guess what we get to do today?

That's right...

We get to Take A Hike!

into the mountains that is! :)

Here we are at the trail head...

It is just like the Yellow Brick Road but with little brown pebbles instead!

It has been so rainy this spring for the Boulder area that everything is still green... just like The Emerald City in the Wizard of OZ!

Come on everyone!

It is beautiful up here!

...and we even get to take rest breaks for lots of hugs... 

and kisses!

What a FUN day we are having!

Oooo!

The afternoon sprinkles are coming back to give the grass a little drink.

That sounds refreshing!

I will wait here like this and get a little drinky poo too!

Friday Funnies ~ R-Chee the Air Freshener!

Happy Friday everyone!

It is me... R-Chee!

Guess where I am today?

Yep!

The SPA!

My momma said it was time to go blow some bubbles together...

Little did I know they would be at me!

I feel like I am in in the car wash without the car!

First comes the water sprayer thingy!

Then the suds and lathering part!

That actually was FUN!

My Pug Tail was wagging the whole time during my "bubbly massage". :)

Then the rinsing again and the SHAKE!

*Note to Self...that is a good way to get momma and dad all wet too!*

Now for the dry cycle!

OY!

...and the final step was the furminator!

Now a nap is in order while I waft the scent of Lavender throughout the room!

I am doubling as an air freshener today!

Friday Funnies ~ Little Archie & Big Archie

Happy Friday everyone!

Spring is such a FUN time of year!

Everything starts to turn green right before our eyes!

Even Archie!

Tee Hee...

Well, he is green today in his bright new Puppia harness we just got for him.

It is the same color I got for him 4 years ago in  2011 in his very first one when he was just 11 weeks old!

Wasn't he a teeny cutie patootie...

That has grown up into a beautiful Puggy!

 What a joy he is! :)

We are going to take him on a hike this weekend in his new green harness.

Friday Funnies ~ Off to the Races ~ Pug vs Corgi

Hi everyone!

Happy Friday!

It is me... R-Chee!

Today Cousin Teddy & I are playing at his house in the foothills of Boulder!

We are playing "Catch Me If You Can!"

I hope I can keep up with Teddy!

My delicate pug feeties are not used to rugged terrain like my wonderful Cousin Teddy is!

He is a true Mountain Corgi... soft and huggable on the inside and tough and durable on the outside!

My auntie Melly calls him her Teddy Bear Cub! :)

"Come on R-Chee!"

"Come and play with me!"

"Here I come Teddy!"

Weeeeeee!

HUHUHU HUHUH HUHU!

I need to catch my breath through this flat pug nose of mine! :)

Lucky I have a long tongue to stick out in the fresh air and sunshine!

It will help to recharge me so i can wind up my pug tail again! :)

Boy!

This playing is hard work! :)

I think I will keep momma company for a few minutes!

ummm... she looks lonely... 

yeah... that's why I stopped running Teddy.

Flakey Friday Funnies ~ The Deep Freeze!

Happy Flakey Friday everyone!

I am so excited!

I am with Teddy today and we are playing in the snow together here!

It has been bitterly cold here in Boulder this week.

It was only 9 degrees as a high yesterday so our moms broke our all of our sweater vests, hats and woofie warmers to keep us warm indoors and out!

Here is Teddy now!

He is running in to get his teddy bear woofie warmer! :)

Doesn't he look cute, toasty and warm!

Now we are both ready to go and plow through the snow!

Teddy's big corgi feet make a wonderful snowplow for my little dainty pug feet to find their way in the drifts!
