Happy Friday Everyone!

What says Spring better than vegetable gardens?

My dad grows one every year and I cannot wait to raid his tomato crop!

My momma is getting me trained by having me practice on this new tomato with extra fiber she just crocheted for me!

She used Lion Brand's new yarn Martha Stewart Craft - Lofty Wool Blend!

My momma says that it is a thick, rich yarn that works up quickly and is fun to work with!


I think it is deeelicious & good practice for the real thing!

Yummy!

Extra Fiber is good for me!

I can eat and floss my teethies at the same time!

I will keep practicing my tomato chomping this weekend!

Easy to Make ~ New Wool Terrariums!

Happy Thursday everyone!

I cannot believe March is here already!

Spring is just around the corner and new green plants will be sprouting everywhere!

Since Fred has the green thumb talents in our family, I decided to make 5 more wool moss terrariums to brighten up my room!

I love making real moss terrariums too, but these crocheted creations are even easier to take care of and look real with no water or care needed! :)

Here is the full tutorial I created including a free DIY pattern to follow.

I used my favorite yarn, Amazing Yarn, by Lion Brand to create them.

Fred Langer Photography ~ Panama Adventure - 2012

I am so excited to show you Fred's new photos he captured on his recent trip to Panama!

Friday Funnies ~ Who says Socks aren't Toys?

Happy Friday Everyone!

It is me...

Archie!

I am so excited to show you my new toy my momma just made for me!

Ever since I was teeny tiny, she has been telling me that the socks I find on the floor every morning by the side of the bed are not chew toys.

But GOOD NEWS...

I think I have finally convinced her that I am right and that socks make the perfect toys!

Meet Hoppy!

My new sock rabbit she just made for me!

It is actually made from two socks!

One is stuffed inside him to make him even softer and more chewable.

I can even make him hop into the air by flipping him over my head!

I wonder what other things around the house I can convince my momma are actually dog toys that I can chew on...

Hmmmm...

Let's all put our thinking caps on and make a huge wish list together!

My New Amazing Yarn Hat!

Happy Thursday everyone!

Archie and I cannot believe it is March 1st already!

Although Spring is right around the corner, March is Colorado's snowiest month!

In celebration of the snow, we decide to make a new hat in our favorite yarn, Amazing Yarn, by Lion Brand.

It is the same style bobble hat that we made this past Fall, but we chose different colors.

Archie says he loves the new hat and that it can keep my head toasty warm while he heats the rest of my lap!

I love how the Amazing Yarn changes colors quickly so even small projects have a wonderful spectrum naturally pop out like a painting!

You are such a good boy that I have made a special new toy for you!
