New Cubes & Bins ~ A Rainbow of Things to Come!

Happy May 1st everyone!

I love Spring and Spring Cleaning!

One of my favorite things to do is find cool containers and organize!

It always relaxes and inspires me at the same time! :)

I find that when I rearrange and recycle things, I open up new spaces for exciting things to come into my life, like creative energy & ideas for new artwork both in the form of fiber art & new paintings!

The new yarn bin above is doubly exciting for me because I did not even have to buy it!
I had it in my attic holding shipping supplies, and I looked at it the other day with my Spring cleaning thinking cap on!

For the first time, I saw it as a yarn bin, and the perfect way to organize my yarn stash by color which is something I have always wanted to do!
I think spending time looking at Pinterest at all the gorgeous yarn organized in so many wonderful ways inspired me!

Speaking of inspiration & organizing...

Look at this uber cool organizing cube cubby I found in the clearance aisle of Hobby Lobby the other day!

It was 50% off and instead of hanging it on the wall, I stood it up in my bathroom to hold my washcloths in the top cubby and my slippers in the bottom one!

Now I can get to everything easier and it looks cute to boot! :)

Yippeeee!

R-Chee is so excited about my FUN finds that he cannot keep his puggy feet or ears from floating with glee!

I'm with you Archie Barchie!

This is just how I feel too!

What FUN things have you found for your Spring organizing this year?

Please leave us a note and let us know!

We are all ears! :)

That is such a good idea for your storage unit, you can see all the yarn at once and it looks gorgeous!
Love your little cubes too, I need to get more organised.

It looks like you've got those colorful bins perched on a shoe rack! I love to repurpose things. I walk around stores and see things and think of other ways they could be used rather than as intended. My spring organizing this year is going through boxes of stuff that's been sitting around here since I moved in 3 years ago! A lot of the stuff is going to recycling, but other stuff is getting filed where it belongs, or pulled out to be displayed. I have been framing pictures as of late - Michael's had a 60% off frame sale and I got 5 frames for $30! Now several of my prints and posters that I dragged back from my travels are framed. Now to finish the rest and hang them up! Have a great week and enjoy spring!!! *scritches to Archie*

Your spring cleaning cap had some wonderful ideas stored inside of it!
