Seattle Pug Party 2010

Hi Everyone!

I am so excited to show you the Seattle Pug Party. :)

It was a magical day as we got to hug many of our blog friends in person for the first time!

I will show you those special photos tomorrow and highlight the Pug Party and Pike Place Market today.

Melanie is the best!
Here she is helping me set up our table. :)
The doors opened a 11am and a sea of sweet puggies rolled in to spend the day with us.

There were 100's of pugs and people having fun and enjoying the festivities!

We had a wonderful day and although we were only in Seattle for 1.5 days, we got to enjoy some of our favorite places like The Public Market!

Here I am entering the building to find...

Lots of veggies...

fish

and flowers!

We had a fabulous time!

I am so excited!
Tomorrow I will show you the photos I took with ...

It was a truly magical day!

The Beach!

While staying in Carlsbad, Melanie and I just loved walking the beach every morning and evening.
It was the perfect way to start and end every day!

Melanie was so smart to bring her sunglasses.
I forgot mine, but I should have asked this puggy at the Pug Party if I could borrow his!
Heee! Doesn't he look like a movie star?

One of our favorite things to do on the beach is to watch the little sandpipers run between the waves to look for their breakfast and dinners.

As you see here, I was so enchanted with the birdies, that I forgot about the waves!

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

I will show you the Seattle Pug party tomorrow!

Our days in La Jolla and Coronado Island

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Our trip to the San Diego Pug Party was so much fun!

Not only did my "business trip" feel like a vacation day, but we had free days wrapped around the party to visit La Jolla, Coronado and even a trip to our favorite store, IKEA!

The first thing Melanie and I did after landing in San Diego was to stop in La Jolla to go to the cove and shop at our favorite gift store, Warwick's.

If you have never been there it is a fabulous little store packed with art, gifts, cards, books and office supplies ~ All of our favorite things!

I bought a few gifts and even found a pug print, pug card and pug magnet for myself. Yippeee!

After leaving Warwick's with our new treasures, we got some green tea & walked to the cove to see the ocean and the flowers!

The next day, Melanie and I headed south to Coronado Island.

We went to the beach at the beautiful Hotel del Coronado and went shopping in town!
I was tickled to see that the Mayoral Candidate is a Pug!
Heee! I may just have to move here one day!

The other very exciting thing that we did was to visit the gallery were my good friend Nancy Medina shows her incredible paintings. They are even more gorgeous in person!
I feel like I got to give Nancy and her puggy studio assistants a huge hug!

Whenever we visit San Diego, Melanie and I stay in Carlsbad by the beach and walk it at least twice a day at sunrise and sunset. It is sooooo beautiful!

We seemed to see hearts everywhere!
Someone drew this in the sand...

and this was in the sidewalk right in front of where we were staying...

What a perfect trip!
I will show you some of my favorite moments from the beach tomorrow!
