Pugs in the Park ~ 2012

 

Hi everyone!

 

It is me...

R-Chee!

 

I am so excited to tell you about the Colorado Pug Rescue's annual Pug Party ~ Pugs in The Park ~ I went to with my pawrents this past weekend!

 

It was so much FUN to meet so many puggies and people all in one place!

 

CPR did a wonderful job of organizing the party with lots of vendors to visit, events to enter and contests to win!

 

This puggy entered the costume contest as a plate full of spaghetti & meatballs!

 

How deeeelicious is that?

 

This puggy is getting ready to run through the Pug Olympics obstacle race!

 

... and these 3 puggies cannot wait to enter the 2nd wave of the hot dog eating contest!

 

The were so many contestants that they had to do it in two heats of competition!

 

Here I am listening to my momma tell me what a good boy I am! :)

She was very proud of me that I was so well behaved the whole day!

 

She rewarded me with lots of Cheerios all afternoon! :)

 

 

I had a great day & made so many new friends

 

... but I could tell I am still learning my social skills!

 

Silly me... I did not know it at the time, but I was involved in a dramatic love triangle!

 

It all started when this cute little girl greeted me with a big smile when I said hello!

 

 

...but alas this was her boyfriend, and he did not want me to hang out with them too long!

 

He blew lots of raspberries at me from the playing field.

 

I quickly got the message and went on my way!

 

 

At the end of the day, I waved goodbye to these 3 chaps as their pawrents took them home after a FUN day in the sun!

 

I think the one on the end had one too many hot dog pieces! :)

 

What a fabulous day and fundraiser the Colorado Pug Rescue set up for all of us to enjoy!

 

Thank you to them & all of the rescues out there who work so hard for all of us!

 

The love & dedication every single rescue person has to saving needy animals is simply magical!

 

*It is truly the yummy stuff of life that I think makes the world go round and round! :) *

Hi Everyone!

Happy Friday!

Today's post is so much fun for me to write because I get to see all of photos of the friends I got to hug in person at the Seattle Pug Party!

How did I get so lucky to have all of you as friends?

I wish I could travel all over the country and hug you all.

Until I can do that, let me show you the photos of Tweedles & her moms, Georgie & Paulette, Diane, Gail & Kong, Judy, Joan and Skippy and Lise & Winston who even crossed the border from Canada to come to the party. :)

The first two photos are of me with Tweedles! Georgie and I have been blog friends for over a year and a half and we finally got to meet in person! They made the drive from Oregon.

San Diego Pug Party 2010

Hi Everyone!

We are home!

Melanie and I had a fabulous time in San Diego and Seattle!

I am so excited to show you pictures of our trip!

I will start with the SD Pug Rescue Party today so as not to overload you with all of my pictures. :)


Our tables were filled with our whimsical pug art, sweater vests and handmade wool bears!

We had so much fun!

It was a perfect day filled with wonderful people and over 500 pugs smiling and having fun!

Here is one little happy pug looking for the perfect forever home.

The party is an annual fundraiser to help the San Diego Pug Rescue raise funds to support the sweet pugs in their care.

Some of the activites they had were costume contests, blueberry facials, pug massage, manicures, ask a vet and a cupcake eating contest (A funny side note: The cupcakes had to stay down to win ~ heeee.)

Here is a puggy waiting for his cupcakes while celebrating the theme of Pugs Around the World complete with ponchos, sombreros and *beverages*.

We had such a wonderful time seeing old friends, meeting new ones and spending the day with hundreds of puggies!

Tomorrow I will show you what we were doing on our vacation days in La Jolla, Coronado and Carlsbad.

P.S. Does anyone know why Emmitt is singing and dancing and smelling like mini meatloaves? He is on cloud 9 I tell ya!

Partypalooza 2010 is here!

Partypalooza 2010 is finally here!

Hi everyone!

It is me... Emmitt!

Welcome to the week long Partypalooza here on my blog!

While my mom and auntie Melanie are having fun in San Diego and Seattle May 1st - May 8th at the fabulous Pug Parties, we are having a huge bash all week!

You can come and go as you please and bring all of your friends!

We have tons of food including my specialty - Mini Meatloaves & ketchup by the truck load.

We also have a pool, slide, music, games and...

Singing & Dancing Workshops to earn your certificate to become an unofficial Official Mother Bear Ambassador!

By the end of the week, we are all going to be qualified to teach all of the bears how to sing and dance for the children to make them smile!

Colorado Pugs in the Park ~ 2009

We had the most perfect day on Sunday for the Colorado Pug Rescue's Pugs In the Park ~ 2009!

It was a wonderful day filled with people and pugs, contests and costumes!

Fred and Melanie were the best team.

We had so much fun making lots of new friends all day!

There were wonderful contests!

Here is the hotdog eating contest!

I especially like the puggy in the middle of the shot screaming with his ears up in utter excitement and the puggy in the foreground determined to win!

...and the costumes were just wonderful!

We cannot wait until next year!
