Friday Funnies ~ The Perplexed Pug

Happy Friday everyone!

It is me...

Archie!

There is something very strange going on around here lately!

I noticed everytime I come into the room my pawrents look at each other, smile, stop talking and turn to me and smile ~ with big goofy smiles I might add!

I think they are planning something for me!

I also noticed there is a big heart and a balloon doodled on my momma's pug calendar on January 29th!

There is also pug gift wrap and clear tape all over my momma's art table downstairs with little boxes stacked around it.

What could this mean?

Hmmmmm!

Friday Funnies ~ Archie vs The Snowman!

Happy Friday everyone!

I have been invaded by the snowman army!

I tried to sneak up on the fierce one...

... but the short one start clapping his metal hands and sounded the alarms!

My momma tried to tell me they just wanted to be my friends ...

... but she does not speak snowman!

I need help!

They are planning a snowball fight!

It is me...

Archie!

I had such a fun time playing in my backyard this weekend!

Something happened to it while I slept!

One day it was green and the next it was white fluffy!

My momma said we had a snow storm overnight and look what happeened!

Weeeeee!

I LOVE the snow!

My dad even made a movie to show you!

Fun Projects to Make this Year!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I am making my FUN projects list I want to make this year and found some super tutorials already that I want to share with you.

My friend Lynne makes the most wonderful Felties and wrote this fabuolus tutorial on how she made the heart feltie above. I cannot wait to make mine!



Red Heart Yarns just came out with new free patterns and sent this one in their last newsletter!

Ollie The Owl is at the top of my list of must do's this year!

These DIY fabric drawer liners are so pretty that I cannot wait to make my first set!

I have lots of fabric in my stash that will make the inside of my drawers look nicer than the actual furniture.

I will have to keep the drawers open to enjoy them!

... and these fabric flowers remind me of something Melanie and I made as little girls at Summer camp.

I smiled from ear to ear when I saw them on FaveCrafts.

I know when I smile from ear to ear that it is definitely something that I have to make! :)

I will show my finished projects to you as soon as they are done.

The Train has left the Station!

Happy New Year everyone!

The beginning of the year is a wonderful time to make room for all the new things you want to learn and do!

My husband Fred just disassembled the model train he built over the last couple of years and sold the parts on Ebay right before Christmas so that someone could get a great deal on breaking into a new hobby that he really enjoyed learning.

He has been having so much fun with his photography that he realized it was time to make some space in the basement for creating a photo studio for himself this year.

I am so proud of him and of all of the art he is creating and sharing!

I cannot wait to see what he creates next!

He inspires me everyday!
