Meet Tink The Tiny Collage Pug Doll ~ Now Available for you to Enjoy!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I had so much FUN making some new art dolls for you to enjoy!

Meet Tink ~ The Tiny Pug Doll!

She is sitting on top of the world today perched on her pretty pink bed!

At only 2 x 3 inches she is the perfect size for hands of all sizes to squeeze and play with!

You could even make her into a pin or a key chain if you like and take her everywhere you go!

I made her by making her into fabric using the pug collage I illustrated and created last month.

R-Chee & I are so excited to let you know that both the Tink tiny pug doll and note cards are available in my Etsy Shop for you to enjoy!

What FUN things are you up to today?

Please leave us a note and let us know!

We cannot wait to hear all about it!

Fun Online Class ~ My Cereal Box Book & Pop Up Dolls

Hi everyone!

Happy Wednesday!

I am so excited to show you the Cereal Box Book and Paper Dolls I made in Carla Sonheim's Summer Art Camp online class!

I had so much FUN making it and watching it come together!

I had no idea what I would draw or how my creation would turn out until I started gluing all of the elements together!

I just love it!

This is the front cover (above)

and...

This is the back cover of my book!

Here is the view from the top to show you the structure.

...and this is what it looks like open.

The class did not include pages to fill the book, but I gessoed and painted some extra cereal boxes to make pages to fill with art and sew into the binding.

They are not quite done yet, but I will show them to you as soon as I finish them.

I ordered Carla's new book, Drawing & Painting Imaginary Animals.

It will arrive anyday and I plan to fill my book with art I create from her lessons!

Until then, here is her FUN new tutorial she just posted from the book using a few piece of washi making tape and your imagination to create a wonderful whimsical creature!

I cannot wait for my book to arrive!

Now on with the tour...

This is the book open with my pug paper dolls that I made. :)

They will live inside the pockets unless they eventually wind up as elements in the book pages!

I will have to wait and see what happens! :)

I highly recommend Carla's blog, books, online classes and workshops!

Melanie and I are so excited because in addition to taking this class and waiting for the arrival for her book, we will have the opportunity for Carla to sign her book in person for us when we...

* Drum Roll Please*

Attend her Colorado Art Camp for Women Retreat Workshop in October in Winter park, CO!

Melanie and I are sooo excited!

Yipeeee!

There will be lots more of this in our two day mini art camp!

What classes are you taking this Fall & Winter?

Please leave me a note and let me know!

I cannot wait to hear all about them!
