Archie's Yarn Painting ~ The LOVE Pug

Hi everyone!

Archie and I are so excited to show you our newest yarn painting!

Archie is especially smiley today because I used this photo of him to "paint" with yarn!

I love making yarn paintings!

Anyone can make them with their favorite photos, some yarn, glue and scissors.

I have written a fun yarn painting tutorial for you to see all the tools and techniques I use to create mine.

Please feel free to use this as a jumping off point for your own fabulous creations!

There is no right or wrong! Only FUN!

I took lots of photos for our to see how I created this new painting that I call ...

The LOVE Pug!

Here is my photo of Archie with some hearts glued on a board and ready to fill in with yarn!

I started with some outlining to make sure the important lines are not lost in the process of filling it in. :)

Ooooo! It is so much fun seeing it come to life!

Cousin Moe's Summer Vacation

Hi everyone!

It is me...

Cousin Moe!

I have had the best Summer!

I know there are several weeks left of Summer (yippeee), but I just could not wait to share the vacation my pawrents treated me to!

We went to Grand Lake in the moutains of Colorado!

and Grand it was!

I found lots of yummy sticks to chew on!

and wildflowers to sniff!

What a beautiful and peaceful place!
