I have very exciting news!
Amy from the Mother Bear Project just sent us this amazing photo of Melanie's first bear she ever crocheted being loved by a child in Liberia!
Melanie sent him in her box of bears that she made for The Mother Bear Project earlier this year.
If you remember, she had another sighting in South Africa with some of these bears just a couple of months ago. The odds of getting photos of any bears is amazing so this is just magical!
This photo brought happy tears to both of our eyes.

Melanie's bears are very special.
She not only crochets them for charity, but also has an Etsy Shop filled with wool and cashmere felted bears that she makes by hand.
I am so excited because we are going on our annual Sister Retreat Vacation the week of July 4th.
We are going on a cruise to Alaska, and we will make lots of bears together on the ship!
Yippeeeee!

Hi Melissa & Emmitt! That little bear is singing! He is loving life with his new friend in Liberia and I couldn't be happier for him.
That's so cool that you and Melanie are doing a sister retreat for the 4th. We will be having our annual bash that weekend and there's bound to be plenty of foodables.
Mom and Dad did an Alaskan cruise years ago and loved it. You guys are going to have an awesome time!

Not only are the little kids happy, but so are the bears.
We love seeing the smiles that are spreading across the world.
