A Day of Art & History in Denver

Last week, I was totally inspired by my friend Moira from Dog Art Today to go out and see some art. We have such a beautiful museum, and I had not been there for about a year!
I invited Fred, Melanie and Mark to lunch and to see Color As Field at the Denver Art Museum, and then to head over to the Museum of Nature and Science to see the Imax movie Ghost of the Abyss about the Titanic and the to see the sold out exhibit of Titanic Artifacts.
It was a wonderful day. What more could you ask for? Family, Food, Art and History.

Emmitt was so happy to see us when we got home from our day in Denver. It was dinner time!

That sounds like a lot of fun. My mom loves going to the IMAX movies in Boston. She keeps saying she is taking the boy to the Museum of Fine Art, but she wants dad to drive.

PS Glad you liked my memere's artwork. We think she is a keeper.

I spent all my teen years growing up in Longmont. CO. We use to take school field trips to the Dener AM. Your post brings back memories.

I do a little art and post it on my blog. I've having a give-away to celebrate one year. Come on by - I think you'll be glad that you did.

A Happy New Year to you.
