Organize, Connect, Create

One thing I really love about the blogging world is that it connects people with similar interests. From there, we build a network of friends who inspire, support, and share with each other. I greatly appreciate that. Every email and comment I receive makes my day. I want to share two resources I enjoy that are geared for creative people who like to connect and stay organized.

The first one is called The Switchboards. It is a Forum for Creative Women in business for themselves, sharing their business ideas and experiences. I have gained alot of knowledge from reading the posts and sharing my experiences.

The second one is called Back Pack It. It is an online organizer that gives you 5 pages for free, and options to upgrade with calendars, writeboards and more. It is a great place to type in your goals, make checklists, print them out and revisit to see what you have accomplished during the year. I find myself checking in months later after setting goals and being amazed at all of the things I found a way to check off my list without even knowing I did it. Feels like a nice pat on the back for a job well done. It also allows you to make checklists that you can print so you do not have to keep recreating them. For example, preparing for the Colorado Pet Expo, I had a list of things I knew I needed to gather, remember and bring to set up my booth. I am a list person, so this software was right up my alley. You just type them in and print your list. It is super easy to organize and edit. Now, I am already for next year. My list is complete and I do not have to spend energy trying to remember what I have already figured out.

Have a great Saturday!
