Day 2 - The Pug Party!

The big day had finally come! May 3rd, 9:00 am, we are all set up!

The pugs were ready for a day filled with costume contests with a Renaissance theme.

Open Food Bars! All you can eat hotdogs and meatballs! Oh MY!

Dancing on tables!

Being pampered!

and alot of love!

Here are Mindy and Elvis! We have been online friends for over a year and now we finally got to meet!

Elvis is a happy boy!

And I also got to meet our friends, Jon, Liz and Henri Hopper! It was a very exciting and fun day!

I think Henri had a great time even though there were over 500 pugs at the party!

Mel and I had an absolute blast meeting so many wonderful people, pugs and selling lots of art!

One of the other vendors said that Melanie and I were a "Wonder Twin" team working our magic.

Thanks Melly for all of your help! Tomorrow, I will show you our day at La Jolla Shores where my Grandma and Grandpa stayed with us when were were 3 and The Flower Fields. It was a very special day!

Day 1 con't - The La Jolla Cove

Here we are at my favorite place in the world.

The La Jolla Cove.

It is amazingly beautiful everywhere you turn. From a lush park with huge trees, to the ocean with hills of flowers hugging the cliffs all the way down to the cove itself, filled with sun bathing seals.


We had a perfect first day just filled with art, shopping and nature that we could not believe the beauty.


At the end of the day, we were so excited for the next morning to go to the Pug Party and set up all our new things on our table. Tomorrow I will show you The Party!

Day 1 - Shopping!

The first day, I took Mel to my two favorite spots, Warwick's Stationery & Book Store in La Jolla and Ikea of San Diego!

We spent hours shopping for art, cards, books and office supplies. It is all of our favorite things all in one store. And then the greatest thing was showing Melanie Ikea. I hope oneday we have one in Colorado.

We bought tons of fun things to help merchandise my table to build height, color and focal points for our display. We got circle placemats to match my tablecloths that I brought from home, cool retro metal tins to hold switchplates, our raffle cards, mugs and magnets. I even found a green frame to showcase my raffle sign and 2 wooden foldable racks to showcase my books and plates.

Every item was $10 or less. So Cool! We even bought snazzy Ikea bags to carry everything home on the plane.

Tomorrow, I will show you pictures of our visit to The La Jolla Cove. :)

We're Back!

Hi! We are back from San Diego and we had a wonderful time!

I have over 250 pictures from our 4 day trip and cannot wait to show you the best ones.

We went to La Jolla were we vacationed with our grandparents when we were 3. Melanie and I both have very vivid memories of that time. It was magical to be there again together.

We went to Ikea! Melanie had never been before! We got great things to help merchanise my pug art at the party which I will tell you all about.

Then on Saturday, we were at the Pug Party and it was wonderful! We met so many nice people and two doggies and their parents came to see us that we have met online and finally got to meet in person...

Elvis the Pug and his mom, Mindy and new pug sister, Dandy and Henri Hopper, the beautiful Frenchie and his parents, Liz and Jon. It was an amazing day!

Our final amazing adventure was to visit the Flower Fields of Carlsbad that are only on display this time of year.

I will post lots of pictures of all of these wonderful things in the coming days.

Hello from San Diego!

Hi from San Diego!

My sister, Melanie and I are having an amazing time. The pug show was so much fun! I have tons of pictures that I will share as soon as I get home, but I had to say hello and show you just a few.

We met so many wonderful people and pugs! The weather has been perfect and the hillsides are exploding with colorful flowers everywhere we look!
