April Showers Bring May Flowers ~ Free Crochet Umbrella Pattern

Happy Monday everyone!

R-Chee & I are so excited that we got 14" of snow here last week in Boulder, CO and about 3 new feet in the mountains!

We are expected to get more moisture this week and Colorado will take every drop this Spring to prepare us for our dry summers & protect against wildfires.

R-Chee & I celebrated every snowflake this past weekend by crocheting this cute umbrella for our tunisian crochet bunny rabbit doll we made awhile back.

She sits right in front of our kitchen window and looked like she needed one to hold over her head!

We searched the web and found this  Free Crochet Umbrella Pattern that is the perfect size for Amigurumi dolls.

I made the hook and handle a bit differently than the pattern shows so that she could hold it over her head. :)

To make it longer and posable, I used 1/8" thick bendable floral wire wrapped with purple pipe cleaners!

Ta Da!

I think it turned out so cute!

I cannot wait to see the colorful flowers that spring up from the needed drink they just enjoyed!

We bought these to welcome their arrival and make them feel right at home!

Today we get to count more snowflakes!

What kind of weather are you enjoying today?

Please leave us a note and let us know!

R-Chee & I always love to hear from you!

I love that little bunny! I think we are finally done with the snow and a little part of me is sad about that. But everything is coming up in the gardens so that makes me pretty happy! Have a great day my friend! Love, mare
