Hi everyone!
Happy Thursday!
If you remember last Fall, Melly and I made
needle felted snowmen and in this class we made magical creatures that I imagine bring good luck to everyone who meets them!
Let me introduce you!
Here is the magical creature I created...
and here is Melanie's!
Ta Da!
The first thing we did was to pick out our yarn and then make a long pom pom out of it on a cardboard template.
After the pom pom body was properly poofed we started needle felting on the faces.
It is coming along!
... now for the antenna!
Oooo! He is coming to life!
Just a few more minutes of needle felting on the face and ...
Voila! He is done!
Melanie and I are so excited to take at least one more class from Heidie this Summer!
I will show you what we make!
What fun things are you doing and learning this Summer?
Please leave us a note and let us know!
Archie and I cannot wait to hear all about it!

I absolutely adore your needle felted creature! It has inspired me...I need to go get some needle felting supplies! :)
Oh my happy yarn cuteness!
That little creature is very cute. Mom wishes she had time to take those classes, but her hands are too busy with all the little ones this summer. She has to find things to keep them busy too.
We can't wait to see what you make next.
