Meet a Sock Dog & a Glove Bear

While at my favorite yarn store last week, I picked up a fun book that shows you how to make stuffed animals from socks and gloves. I had a great time this weekend making a dog from two socks and a bear from 2 gloves. The instructions are clearly written and the projects are fast! I hand sewed each one in about an hour or so. The possibilities are endless and she shows you how to make several animals including birds, fish, pigs and elephants.

Those are adorable. You are so creative. Mom spent hours yesterday balancing the checkbook. I think sewing would have been more fun.

I just love the little white doggy with the ring around his eye. I used to make monkey dolls from socks for my children. They are so much fun to make.
