Friday Funnies ~ Class is in Session: Foodie 101

Happy Friday everyone!

Today is Foodie Friday and class is in session!

I am learning from the best foodie in the whole world!

My Dad!

He has been a foodie since he was a little kid like me!

He loves to tell the story of how when he was 6 years old and his little brother was 4, they were sitting in a restaurant with their parents and 3 other famillies.

They were at the little kids' table and the waitress asked what they all wanted for dinner.

The other kids ordered first...

PB & J, Hamburger, Hamburger, Cheeseburger and when they got to Fred, he ordered the Lobster Newburg & 4 year old Greg ordered Frog Legs!

I think the Langers always liked to eat out and always wanted Fred & Greg there with them.  They became expert foodies very quickly!

The Langer family may not have gone to Disneyland on Summer vacations, but they sure did enjoy fine dining all year long! :)

I have a lot of learn'n to do to catch up to my dad!

Don't worry, Possum Stew is not on the menu, but my dad did grow up eating lots of...

and...

Oh my goodness!

I hope he does not wake up for a midnight snack tonight!

I may be on the menu because I sure am deeelishus!

Ha!
What FUN things do you have planned this weekend?

Please leave me a note and let me know!

I cannot wait to hear all about them!

Haha, that is hilarious!
Sounds like your dad loved food from an early age.
You certainly are delicious Archie, Mum is always saying she could eat you all up - eeek - run!
We plan on having a nice walk with Mum this weekend and sitting in the garden, we hope the sun is shining.

I hope nobody eats you! I am an expert when it comes to produce. I like almost all fruits and vegetables. My plan for this weekend is to relax after my big road trip last week. Maybe if I am lucky I will get some tomatoes from the garden!

Hi R-Chee
I know your dad had a craving for certain kinds of things, but I don't think he would ever eat you!
Instead- he would kiss you with tons of kissy!
That is what I would do too.
