My Wool Poncho

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I wanted to show you the second wool poncho that I started last week. I just finished it. I love how it turned out.

It is such a fun and easy pattern that I found for free on Lionbrand.com.

I used the Lamb's Pride Bulky weight in the Cafe au Lait.

It is like wearing a comfortable blanket.
I think Emmitt wants one too!

I'll see what I can do little buddy!
I cannot believe it is the 15th already! What fun plans do you have for this week?
Please leave us a comment and let us know. We would love to hear all about it!

I love the color you picked and it looks so warm and inviting. Good job!

My activities for this week, Naomi joined basketball so we have that practice to run to a few times. We are going to a Christmas Land on Wednesday evening, will have to show pictures of that......absolutely gorgeous. But I am running in last minute gear of getting our Christmas tree up and some cookies baked. So that will come this weekend I think. A mighty full week ahead.

Great job on that poncho Melissa! It would go perfect with your old Brownie beanie and orange turtleneck from the Brownie uniform! How CUTE and retro feeling!

YES...Emmitt definitely needs one too! Perhaps a navy/gold Cub Scout type poncho to keep with the theme? ;-)

Love,

Hi Melissa, i love the second poncho too! I am going to have to try that pattern. Thanks for sharing it! I have a crocheted shawl that i wear over my pj's when i get chilled at night and i prefer that to a bathrobe. This week? Shopping, cleaning, crafting, cooking, running like a mad woman and getting ready for the big family gathering here on Christmas day. And my birthday is Saturday! The big 55!!! WooHoo! I'm so glad i made it! hahaha

Hi Melissa! I love the poncho. Mom says it's very 70's and that it looks better on you than it ever looked on her. I think you should make a matching one for Emmitt so he can stay warm.

I am catching up on my sleep now that Mom is home. It's so cold here that there's not much to do but sleep. Mom is going to finish unpacking and work on her quilt this week.
