Archie's First Day of Puppy Kindergarten!

Happy Monday everyone!

It is me... Archie!

I am so excited to tell you about my first day at puppy kindergarten!

My classes are at the same place Emmitt took his puppy kindergarten classes at 15 years ago!

The Boulder Valley Humane Society building is new, but the positive reinforcement classes are the same. :)

Isn't that fun?

My pawrents love the whole program and have lots of fun helping me with my homework in between my weekly classes.

Here I am heading for the front steps.

I am feeling excited and a bit nervous!

My mom said that is exactly how she felt on her first day of school too!

Now here I am feeling more nervous than excited!

Will there be snacks for all the students dad?


Yes!

Not only are there snacks, but kong balls filled with peanut butter for every puppy!

Oooooo!

I like school!

I am ready to learn!


You mean I get a treat for sitting?

This is fun!

and delicious!

more food, um... I mean lessons please!

This week we learned how to sit, answer to our names being called and try to stop barking at new things.

Good luck on that one!

Everything is new to me, and I must tell everyone at the top of my lungs... "Hello! My name is Archie! It is so nice to meet you!"

Apparently I am told all that sounds like to humans is "Bark, Bark, Bark!"

Heeee!

I will have to get everyone to learn how to speak pug!

I will keep you updated on all my learn'n.

Friday Funnies ~ Archie the Rock Collector

Hi everyone!

It is me... Archie!

There is something you should know about me...

I collect ROCKS!

I like small rocks, big rocks, black rocks and white rocks!

I like all sorts of rocks, and I bring them through my doggie door and put them in my room with all of my toys everyday!

My pawrents laugh because can hear me getting a rock from outside, bringing it through the door, putting it on the pile and then running out for another one.

I do it all day long!

I am not sure how my rocks get back outside, but I keep inviting them back in!

I am a very busy pug!

Let's go rock collecting!

I have been studying their behavior, and the rocks seem to like it out here in the backyard!

I can usually find a whole bunch of them in this thing my pawrents call their "water fountain".

I see lots of rocks, but no water.

My parents said something about a little pug might get into trouble if there is water perkalin' through it right now.

I do not know what they are talking about since no little pug lives here...

Just a great big one named Archie (poo).

Archie's First Hike in the Mountains

Happy Wednesday in the World of Archie Poo Pants!

Last week I got to go on my first walk, and this weekend I went on my very first hike in the foothills!

Let me show you where we went!

Here I am at the trail head with my momma!

She even wore a green sweatshirt that matches my harness!

I think she is always playing with colors even when she does not mean to!

Tee Hee!

We walked and walked until we came to this nice place.

Oooooo... Look .... Water!

I am not sure what to do in it yet, but I have a feeling I will learn!


All this rushing water is making me have to send some pee mail messages.

Let's go back to the trail!

A chipmunk named Chippy?

I will ask...

Ohhhhh! He squeaked and ran away!

Momma hugged me and said not to worry!

He was more afraid of me than I was of him, because I looked so big to him!

Hooooray!

I think I am growing up!

My Momma always knows what to say to make everything all better!

That was a fun hike!

I learned...

I met a chippy

I learned I am big and fierce

Today is a very good day!

Let's go home and get some lunch!

Archie's First Walk!

Welcome to Woo Hoo Wednesday in the World of Archie Poo Pants!

I got to go on my very first walk!

Now that I am 4 months old, I am a big boy and can leave my backyard to see the world beyond our fence!

Yippeeee!

Let's go!

On my adventure we got to walk on these things called SIDEWALKS around the neighborhood!

... and I even learned how to read my first pee-mail messages!


After meeting all of our super nice neighbors we arrived at this magical place!

It is Green like my harness!

Momma and Dad called it a PARK and it is right in our neighborhood!


Oh my gosh!

My puppy brain is going a million miles an hour!

So many wonderful sights, scents and sounds to absorb!



I think I will bark my name at everyone who comes by so they know who I am!

Ooooo! There are more people over there!

This is so much fun!
