I have been excited to see all of the new ways people are showcasing and marketing their artwork.I just love that social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter as well as online handmade communities such as Etsy and Artfire have brought people together from all over the world.
People often ask me if I think it is worthwhile opening shops on sites like Etsy, Artfire, 1000 Markets and Zibbet. I say... why not? It is an easy, cost effective way to meet people who may not find your website or blog except through these great venues.
I know whenever I find a new site, I search on 'Pug' to see what appears. I am always excited to collect new pug art!
I also find it exciting to be a part of a growing community and company as it builds and creates its success.
