Melanie's Doodle Design - Week 2

Melanie created the coolest embroidery design for our doodle class this week. She made a doodle of Dunkin, her parrotlet. I love that she used color thread for the design and worked in green wool as her canvas.

Here is the back of the piece. Melanie and I both love the pre-quilted fabric we found at Joanns!

Here is the design again that she created for week 1. Now she has one of Moe and one of Dunkin.
How fun!

I cannot wait to see what we make for week 3!

p.s. I'll be posting pictures of your recipe today along with a funny story about me making it. Check for it later this afternoon.
