Emmitt loves to go on his daily walk through our neighborhood.
He happily prances along with his ears flapping and tail wagging. He makes stops at his favorite spots to mark his visit and sings to people with a big yodel when they pass him to say hello and ask a very important question...
Do you have any pizza or sandwiches for me?
Now you may think that a strange question for Emmitt to be asking total strangers, but on two very exciting occasions in Emmitt's life, he found a half a sandwich, still fresh in a little lunch bag, and a slice of pizza in the park just last week. Now, whenever we get close to the two spots he found them, he puts his hunting cap on and searches and searches for the same treats. I think he may think that pizza and sandwiches are natural occurances in nature. :)

Do you ask this out loud for him at times? I love how we dog nuts develop stories and even monologues that we repeat often about or for our pups. We put words in our pup's mouths all the time .... they are very chatty. And they know when we are talking for them ...our voice gets higher.

That is a great story. We love the photos of Emmitt walking with you, but the running toward you pictures are even better.
