Happy Friday everyone!

It is me...

R-Chee The Road Warrior! :)

Guess what I did?

I went on a weekend getaway!

My pawrents packed Gilbert & I up last weekend and took us up to the mountains to see all of the Fall color that is exploding right now here in Colorado! :)

It only took about 2 hours for us to drive to Vail from Boulder.

We arrived on a Friday evening and immediately made ourselves at home!

Mom unpacked our jammies and yarn while dad made supper.

As you can see... I was all ready to be tucked in after dinner time from all of the excitement of the day!

But I was bright eyed and bushy tailed when we went on a walk through the quiet & sleepy Vail village early the next morning.

We saw lots of pretty buildings, shops, flowers and mountains all around us!

After our walk through Vail we got back in the car to go and find more Fall colors to hike in and enjoy!

We had perfect weather all weekend!

It was lightly snowing when we arrived but was sunny the whole time we were there.

We walked for miles and miles and pooped ourselves out!

Dad captured this unconscious moment that night as we were all relaxing and watching tv before bed.

I think the floor is a wonderful bed don't you?

Especially when you have your mom there to keep you warm!

This weekend we are going to rake up leaves in our own backyard and watch some football.
