Mother Bear Sighting in Zimbabwe!

Happy Monday everyone!

Emmitt and I are so excited!

Amy from the Mother Bear Project just sent us this photo of one of our MBP Bears in the loving hands of a child in Zimbabwe!

We completed him in December 2008 and it is so fun to see him again.

He was my first bear to have a bow tie!

Emmitt thought he was very dapper.

He spent a whole day wispering songs in his ear for him to sing to the children.

Emmitt did not know it at the time, but he was practicing to be the Mother Bear Ambassador that he is today!

Emmitt and I would love to hear all about the fun things you did this weekend. Please leave us a comment and let us know!

Have a super day everyone!

What a wonderful reward for your hard work to see your bear being treasured by a child.
Wonder if he is singing the songs Emmitt taught him?
Mum had a strange weekend at work, first the electricity went down on Sunday night (she works in a creepy old office by herself) then some wierd man phoned to say he had a delivery - (which turned out not to be true when she rang the on-call manager) and would she open the door (not likely!)
It was like one of those horror movies but livened up the night alright!
Wags and kisses, Dinah Bridget and Elliot xx

Hi Melissa & Emmitt! How exciting that you received a picture of a child with your bear. I'm sure the bear has been singing to the child thanks to Emmitt.

I didn't do much this weekend except my usual. I plan on doing more this week but don't tell Mom.

Stubby xoxo

Melissa, your love and kindness reaches all over the earth. I'm glad Emmy puts his special puggy touch on all the little bears that go out to the children!

How very exciting and extremely rewarding it must be to receive this picture! Your bear is going to get SO much love!! Not too many exciting things over here... have a cold and laryngitis! Thank goodness I can TYPE!! I'm getting tired of 'passing notes' of communication to Tone and McKenna :( I guess on the bright side...I'm improving my penmanship!
