Friend's Art ~ Inspiring Yarn Painting

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I am soooo happy and thrilled to show you the new yarn painting my friend Lynne just did!

She said the yarn paintings I have made over the last couple of years inspired her to try one of her own.

She recently peeked at my yarn painting tutorial and made this amazing landscape from a stained glass pattern she found.

I love that you can create yarn paintings from absolutely any photo, drawing, abstract design or image that inspires you.

Any age of artist from child to adult can make gorgeous art pieces in just a few hours and enjoy the process every step of the way!

Lynne recently found this wonderful blog post about creating yarn paintings on round paper plates

I cannot wait to make one of those next!

Ta Da!

I love the yarn colors and textures she chose in every layer!

Can you believe she has never tried yarn painting before?

It is truly amazing!

Thank you so much Lynne for sharing it with all of us!

Please contact me anytime if you have art to share with me.

I would LOVE to see what you are working on!

I came over to your blog when Lynne posted her beautiful work on her blog. I plan on giving this a try. It looks fun...kind of addicting too.

Lynne did a fantastic job! We love the beautiful creation. She put a lot of feeling into this, and we can feel it!
The textures of yarn are beautiful.
This art painting tells a story and we are listening.
