Pass the Dip ~ Crochet Veggie Tray!

Hi everyone!

I am so excited to show your the yummy crocheted veggie tray with dip that I just finished!

They were so fun and easy to make!

My dear friend Lynne sent me this wonderful book Yummi' Gurumi , and I cannot wait to make everything inside of it!

As soon as it arrived, I pulled out my yarn stash of little leftovers and got started!

The projects are so creative, fun, fast and delicious to make.

I had so much fun making them that I even got a second book, Tasty Crochet, which has the pattern for the aspargus and a whole lot more.

Each book is packed with different patterns to create fiber filled fun!

Breakfast * Lunch * Dinner * Desserts

Archie cannot wait to try some!

Tee Hee!

It is the perfect way to use up the tiny balls of yarn I have left over from other projects.

I made wool mushrooms, cashmere celery, baby alpaca radish slices, bamboo olives and acrylic carrots! :)

Broccoli & Cauliflower

Cauliflower, Broccoli & Asparagus

Peas in a pod & Dip

Radish slices, mushrooms, & olives

Ta Da!

I am going to make the little cakes next!

I cannot wait tot show you when they are done!

I displayed them in the dining room next to my crocheted fruit collection that I made last summer and under my wall hanging Emmitt & I finished in January!

Fun! Fun! Fun!

What fun things are you doing today?

Please leave us a note and let us know!

We cannot wait to hear all about it!

I just love all your crochet veggies and fruit Melissa, they just make me smile. I could eat that grapefruit for breakfast!
Does Archie ever make a bee-line for them? If something even vaguely resembles a soft toy, Bridget and Elliot are after it.
Can't wait to see your next project!

Love it!!! Will you be selling anything like this in your etsy shop?? I am a dietitian and would LOVE crocheted veggies to put in my office!

OMD, the little mushrooms are SO CUTE! I bet you could sell lots of these to little kids! They would make a great alternative to all the yucky plastic food in the toy stores.
