Happy Monday everyone!
I am having so much fun creating African Themed Squares for the Knit-A-Square charity this month.
This weekend I finished crocheting the 10 Elephant Squares and then made my first Lion Square.
I made up the lion pattern by adapting the sun square into a background color with a yellow circle and then chained 10 and slip stitched the chain to form a loop. I did this in two rows in the front and back loops of the last circle row and then embroidered the face.
I am having so much fun making them and will show you more of the lions as I finish them!

Let's see...for the weekend I played World of Warcraft and I baked. Also did some laundry and watched TV (Torchwood and True Blood) and played with the puggies. That's about it.

The elephants and the lions are adorable! I hiked this weekend in Wisconsin, but felt like I was melting most of the time. It was very humid but we saw a lot of different plants and butterflies and this little frog who sat there real nice while we took its picture!
