Melanie's Fabric Journal - Week 4

Here is Melanie's week 4 Fabric Journal with pockets. I just love the fabrics she used!
The construction of this journal is so fun because it is a trifold and the back part of the fabric cover folds over the 3 books or signatures to form a front binder with pockets. Mel used a snap as a closure and I just love how it turned out.
Today, we are in a book binding class in the next town over learning how to make tunnel books. I cannot wait to see what we make so I can share it with you.
Have a great day!

Those fabrics are great!! Love the little birdies and dots. Now I have to ask a silly question. Is Melanie your sister? You two sure do favor.

That is so cute! I love the fabrics you both used. That birdy fabric is so sweet. I can't wait to see the tunnel book, they look kind of complicated. Did you tuck Persimmon in a pocket for luck?

Hi Melissa, love your sister's journal and yours from the post below as well. Great, quality craftmanship. Have you thought about selling these on ETSY?? If you already are then, disregard this but, if not...boy, they are just beautiful, cannot imagine they would not be popular.
