Friday Fun!

I am so excited! Fred and I found a really cool new desk chair at IKEA when were were in San Diego. It just arrived by UPS.

Ta Da!

It has a cool gray wool cover and lowers all the way down so even my feet touch the floor!

Here is the little creature who must not get pug hair all over it!

... and this fun thingy is a Grub I just crocheted for my nephews' little friend Gray. It seems he went to visit and had to take home the ones I made for Isaac and Ben because he loved them so much.

Isn't that cute! I had so much fun making it for him. :)

and finally, in other fun news, I just found out that my other favorite store, The Container Store, is coming to the mall just down the street. Can you see me doing the happy dance?

Next week I will show you the final 4 new products I have been working on. They are so great! I cannot wait to hear what you think. :)

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hey Melissa...love your new blankets by the way!! Congrats on your chair, a good and comfy chair is so important to comfort and good posture while you are at the desk. Yes, I can see your little friend is waiting to get some of his Pug hair on that new chair. : )

There is an IKEA coming to Denver, so you can get even more fun stuff!

And that chair is definitely fun stuff.

BTW, good luck on the no-Emmitt-hair rule. :)

I absolutely adore the Container Store. I was telling someone about the other day - and drooling while I talked about it. LOL

Very nice chair and the little grubs are adorable.

Hah! Feet touching floor is good. ;-D

Emmitt the cutie!

Container store . . . I can see you dancing, and delighting us with new altered products.

First an IKEA, and now a Container Store? Mom is like, so jealous. As for not getting pug hair on your chair, Emmitt wouldn't, if her were black like me. hee hee

PS can't wait for your new products.

Hi Melissa
I love Ikea too! I used to go to the one in Toronto (where my sister lives) and bring as much as I could fit in my baggage but last year they opened a new store close to Miami!! I will take a picture of some cute (and cheap!) stuff I have gotten there and post it on my blog too. Come visit my blog when you have a chance.
I enjoy looking at your art. I used the address labels that I got from you a while ago for my open-house invitations and my friends loved it!

Hmm. A chair with no dog hair on it? I guess I could keep my four dogs off of it, but the cat prowls at night and knows not of rules.

ahhh yes, the Container store AND Ikea? you must be a happy camper indeed! have fun organizing :O) and you may need a lint brush for the puggy hairs that will inevitably end up on your new lovely IKEA chair! lol!

Those grubs crack me up. I can't believe you know how to crochet, too. Is there anything you CAN'T do??? I suppose you are also an amazing cook, huh?
Wonderwoman.

Congrats on the new chair!

Hi Melissa
Thank you for your kind words on my blog. Coco is more than perfect to me. And, believe it or not, there is almost no difference as to when he was able to see. Only one, actually: he is not in pain anymore.
I will post more soon, to share our happy days together.

That chair is so cool! If it is half as comfy as it is fun to look at, I can see why you were so excited for it to arrive. Hope it brings lots of creative hours your way. Thanks for sharing. =)

Thanks for the link from the container store, now I know what that is! I will keep my eyes open when in a mall in the states.
The toys you made are great. Doesn't Emmitt wants to play with them? My dogs would......
