How to Wet Felt ~ Wool Beads

Hi everyone!

I have had so much fun needle felting wool lately that I thought it would be neat to try wet felting the same wool roving into beads!

I found this fabulous tutorial and had to try it right away!

It was so much fun!

After making some beads and letting them dry for 24 hours, I sewed them to some stems that I made from bending floral wire.

Voila!

Wool balloons for my mini wool teddy bear that my sister, Melanie made for me!

How fun!

Wet felting is very fast, fun and easy to do!

I used wool roving for this project but you can also felt 100% wool yarn that has been knitted or crocheted to make neat things like dolls, purses, slippers and more!

What are your favorite art projects to make?

Please leave me a note and let me know!

I would love to hear all about them!

Love the felting! Momma just doesn't think she could do something that complex but I think she could.

Momma found this tutorial on how to dye yarn in the crock pot and thought of your mom - http://www.leethal.net/zine/?p=764

Momma made some soap for the first time ever last month. It smelled because she used insect repellent essential oils - yuk! The soap came out okay and everyone liked it.
