Denver Art Museum ~ The Van Gogh Exhibit!

 

 Happy Wednesday everyone!

 

Fred and I had the best time exploring the Van Gogh exhibit at the Denver Art Museum together. :)

 

The 5 oranges above was my favorite painting from the show!

 

 

 

 Of course after the show Fred and I visited the gift shop!

 

I got a Sunflower lunchbox and a Poppy pencil case to hold my watercolor blob book and markers so that I could organize & bring my book, markers, pencils and watercolor set with me easily and with inspiration built right in!

Ta Da!

Archie's Holiday Wrap Up!

 

Happy Monday everyone!

 

It is me...

R-Chee!

 

I am having so much FUN getting all of my Holiday gifts this year and wrapping them!

 

I put my Barkclava on for the occasion!

 

Don't I look smart? :)

 

My dad says my pug toes are very talented as he swears I have thumbs the way I can use them!

 

My only trouble is that I have more tape stuck in my pug hair than I do on my packages!

 

I got up early this morning and pulled out all of my supplies to see what I needed.

 

The first thing I did was pick out some festive Note Cards to include with my presents. :)

 

 

 

 

 

...and then I addressed my envelopes with some holiday labels!

... and wrapped all my gifites in Pug Gift Wrap Paper!

 

...and last but not least for the friends that I just did not know what to get, I got them all gift certificates so they could pick out whatever they wanted!

 

These are extra cool gifts because they can be sent by email even on Christmas Day and get there on time!

 

Did you go shopping on Black Friday or were you afraid of being trampled like I was?

 

We did all of our shopping with local artists and online this year so even if we could not make all our gifts, we supported other artists and gave handmade gifts made from the heart at the same time. :)

 

I swear this Barkclava makes me extra smart sometimes!

Oh My Goodness!

 

I am R-Chee ...

and I am still FULL from our Thanksgiving Feast!

 

It is probably easier to tell you what I did not eat instead of what I did get to eat!

 

I did not eat...

Chocolate.

 

Other than that...

I ate everything you can imagine! :)

It was all yummy and totally worth it though!

 

I would do it again in a second!

 

In fact, that is probably my problem today...

 

I had seconds of everything! :)

 

So I guess I ate 2 holiday feasts!

Connecting Across The Sea ~ The Crochet Doll Exchange :)

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Today is Wonderful Wednesday here as Archie and I just got a package from our friend Lynne in the UK!

She found this fabulous little doll pattern on etsy and we did a doll exchange across the miles to each other!

It was so FUN because both of our packages arrived at the same time which is really hard to do! :)

Customs on either side of the borders can hold the packages for varying times each time we mail something so it was a neat bonus for both of us to giggle about!

I just adore her!

 

 

She is just beaming with LOVE!
