Fred's Model Train ~ A River Runs Through It

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Fred has been working on his model train, and I had to show you what he is creating!

A Lake and River!

Here is the lake so far.

It will be appear deep because Fred is painting the bottom a darker color than the river before he pours the final glue substance that will harden but appear like water.

This is a similar process that he did to create the waterfall.

How cool!

Here is a better idea of how the lake and river join.

And the little people and canoes he got to enjoy the new water ways!

I will show you the next steps as soon as the water is poured!

Emmitt is asking for hotdogs and marshmellow grilled over a campfire.

I think we had better dig a BBQ pit too!

Melanie's MBP Bears in South Africa!

I just received an e-mail from Amy at the Mother Bear Project that brought happy tears to my eyes!

Do you remember the batch of MBP bears that Melanie just crocheted and sent to the children in Africa?

Well, in a few weeks time, the bears not only arrived in Africa, but are already being loved by the children!

They are two pug brothers who live in CT with their talented mom, Elisa.

They were so sweet to send me these photos of them enjoying their new sweater vests.

A New Addition to my Pug Art Collection

I had to show you this new fabulous addition to my Pug Art Collection!

I had to have this card by Heidi Burton the moment I saw it on Etsy!

I ran right out and found the perfect frame for it at Hobby Lobby.

Heidi's drawing looks just like my Emmitt in his hat by Jesscia Lynn Art and his pug sweater I made for him last year.

I am so lucky to have my puggy!

Emmitt reminds me everyday that...
