New Painting ~ Portuguese Water Dog

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I am so excited to show you my newest Dog Art Painting ~ The Portuguese Water Dog.

It was so fun to paint all of his curls!

He can be put on any of my products that you can choose the design.

Emmitt invited him to the beach today.

Don't tell Emmitt, but we do not live near a beach and the silly puggy does not float!

Emmitt needs some swimming lessons like his pals Salinger and Hank!

Pug Dolls from Guam ~ My Collection

Happy Monday everyone!

I am so excited because my new doll by artist, Karen Cruz from Guam, just arrived!

It is a Seahorse Pug!

I LOVE him and his curly seahorse tail!

Look at all of the wonderful detailing she does with beads and paint!

I have been a customer of Karen's since 2003, and I am so excited that she is making and selling her dolls again.

She does not always have them available, but I check almost daily at her Ebay Shop for new additions.

Over the years, I have been lucky enough to be able to purchase several of her dolls. I have her creations lighting up every room of my home!

Emmitt & Bogart ~ Camp Emmitt June 2010

My buddy Bogart and I had so much fun at Camp Emmitt for these last two weeks!

Bogart is always ready to play and have fun!

Frenchie Collage

I had so much fun making this Frenchie Collage today!

I feel like I spent the day painting with beautiful papers and fitting them together like a puzzle!

New Painting ~ Pekingese

Hi everyone!

I cannot believe it, but I have added yet another face to the Dog Art Gallery!

Meet my new Pekingese!

I have been having so much fun painting these last couple of weeks.

It is always such a thrill for me to meet the faces that emerge from the end of my paint brush.

Emmitt's Favorite Treats ~ Quinoa Blueberry Quiches

Hi everyone!

Emmitt and I wanted to share his recipe for his favorite treats in the whole world.

He sings and dances for them every morning!

They are healthy, easy to make, store and serve!

Blueberry Quinoa Quiches

I N G R E D I E N T S:

4 eggs
1/8 cup milk
1 cup cooked quinoa
1/4 cup blueberries

I N S T R U C T I O N S:

Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix the eggs, milk and quinoa in a bowl. Spray mini muffin tins with non-stick spray and fill cup 1/2 way with the egg mixture. Sprinkle with 1 or 2 blueberries per quiche . Bake for 20-25 minutes until lightly browned.
Storage: Refrigerate or freeze unused portions.

New Painting ~ Lhasa Apso

Crochet Pattern - Dog Bobble Hat

Happy Wednesday everyone!

It is me ... Emmitt!

I am so excited!

Do you remember the bobble hats my mom made for me to match my sweater vests?

Split Pea Soup Hat


Candy Corn Hat

The wonderful pattern my mom bought and used to make the hat is this fun Sock Monkey Hat Pattern by Christinas Kewl Stuff, modeled by her sweet puggy.

My mom did not change anything except the colors and just did not make the ears or face to create my bobble hats.

My mom then wrote Christina to tell her how much she loved the pattern and to send her pictures of me in my finished hats.

Christina like them so much that she made two new patterns available in her Etsy Shop!

The Cupcake Hat and The Candy Corn Hat

Christina even used me as the model for her new patterns!

How exciting is that?

I love how all of these fun ideas come together, mix and remix, to make the fun world we all share and enjoy!

I think this calls for a new batch of mini meatloaves to celebrate!

The party starts today at noon! Everyone pleeeeeaze come by and bring your appetites because I am cooking up a storm in my new hats!
