Bobble Squares Published ~ Interweave Crochet Spring 2010

Hi everyone!

What a wonderful surprise!

I was speechless when I got a tweet last week from a friend that she recognized my bobble squares in an article in the Spring Issue 2010 of Interweave Crochet. :)

I ran right out and got a copy.

If you flip to page 25, a photograph of a completed blanket for KAS is there with some bobble squares that I made and donated to Knit-A-Square Charity last year.

If you did not see it, here is my original post about the blanket when it was first photographed last May. :)

It brough happy tears to my eyes to see the square then and again today!

It truly is amazing how we can touch people all over the world in as small a gesture as crocheting and sharing and 8 x 8 square to keep a child warm.
How magical!

That's so lovely! And now you have a special way to remember the blanket. It's very cool that your bobble squares are so distinctive (in a good way!) that everyone can recognise them as yours :D

Must.learn.to.crochet.
One square is pretty fast, I bet. And so colorful!
And you can probably get on a plane with a crochet hook. Knitting needle, hand sewing needles, scrapbook scissors - not so much.
Oh Emmitt, please make a how-to-crochet video soon, please!!

Giving is such a joy. Thanks for sharing your ideas. This would go great with the birthday gift baskets that I also make.
