Hi Everyone!Here is a funny story...
So, I finished knitting the wristlet I was making last week and quickly realized that the tube was too narrow to comfortably be worn as a wristlet. Note to self... I need to add more stitches on the next one. :)
So what I am I to do with the knitted tube?
Why make a teddy bear ornament of course! :)

How fun! I learned that seeing things in a new way is even more rewarding than sitting down and creating it from the start. There are no mistakes, just happy endings. It is how we choose to look at a situation that makes all the difference in how we feel. Unexpected things are not mistakes... just opportunities for creativity!
I like him even better than the wristlet idea! I think I will make a whole pile of them.

Aw yes, that is one of the joys of handwork! I have a friend who says nothing I make ever looks like what I started. I will think of your bear at my knitting group tonight!

Waaaait a minute.....I think Emmitt needs 2 pair (a quad?) of mittens with all the snow you've had! That tiny wristlet looked like it was Puggy sized!

Great art, great attitude :) It's surprising how often the two go hand in hand. (Or maybe not surprising!) I could definitely see a Christmas tree full of these little guys -- and what about as little package decorations, too? It would be part of the gift, ultimately. So cute!
