Transformed Art ~ From Faded to Fabulous in 5 Minutes!

Happy Thursday Everyone!

I am so excited to show you what I did in just 5 minute this morning!

I have a wonderful Pierre Bonnard print hanging in the kitchen that I had transferred onto a canvas about 9 years ago.

Unfortunately, over the years it had faded and lost it ooomf!

I have kept my eyes open for another image that I could hang there instead but never found one that I liked.

The muted colors were really getting drab in that spot!

So I thought to myself at 5:30 this morning, what would be the worst I could possibly do to a piece that I had to replace anyways?

So I pulled out my acrylic paints and brushes and in two shakes of a pug's tail I changed from the colors above to...

 These!

All that I did was add yellow, mustard and orange to the

teapot

shadows

and

oranges!

Everything else I left the way it was!

Besides the added color, I just adore the added life and texture the paint strokes brought to the look of the piece!

Yippppeeee!

What FUN makeovers have you created?

Please leave me a note and let me know!

I cannot wait to hear all about them!
