Happy Tweetie Tuesday everyone!
Archie and I have been busy crocheting Tweeties again!
My friend Lynne and I from England decided to make each other
Tweeties and send our color combo choices as a surprise!
I made this little guy that Lynne named Pecan!
He is a little
nut isn't he with his one
orange and one
purple foot!
Here he is living across the pond with Lynne in her sewing room!
How FUN!
I got my package on the same day!
Imagine my surprise when I found not one but...
4 Tweeties in my package!
Oh my gosh!
They are fabulous!
She even sewed little seed beads on their tummies!
I love how they all turned out!
I wonder what we will make next!
What fun projects are you planning for the Fall?
Please leave me a note and let me know!
I cannot wait to hear all about them!

Pecan is so cute!
He is earning his keep, instructing me on the finer points of crochet and sewing - I am very impressed!
Glad your gang are enjoying it among the foliage of your terraniums Melissa and keeping Archie entertained with their singing :)
Hugs, Lynne
What beautiful little projects! I love the idea of a handmade gift swap. How fun!
In the fall, hats keep me pretty busy, but when I want to take a break from my shop work, I love to crochet for myself. Right now I am working on a granny-squares blanket in gray, wheat, aqua, and coral. The colors are so rich and I can't wait until I have my squares done so that I can put it together :]
I love the tweeties! how fun - i want to make these next :)
Hi Melissa and Archie!

These tweeties are really cute! How fun to trade them with a friend.
They are all so very cute. We think this is such a fun project to do and then to see what you each came up with. Love your little tweeties.

I have, in the past, taken a bag of scrap fabric and swapped it for a similar bag of scraps with a friend and/or relative. The "game" is to make something cute/quaint from the scraps for the other person, all the while, remembering them in prayer. Such wonderful surprises have stemmed from these trades, bringing many smiles and even a few tears, of joy!
