Rise and Shine!
I found this wonderful free pattern online and I am having so much fun making one every evening while watching tv with Fred and the Pug. :)
I also wanted to show you some of the hats I have made on my circular loom that I made in 2007. I received so many sweet comments from people wanting to see them that I wanted to make a separate post about them. Here are just a few. Most of these have been sent with my squares to South Africa to keep the children warm.

I love making hats and mittens on these looms. It is so fun and easy! No knitting or crocheting knowledge needed!
You can never have too many hats or mittens and they make great gifts too!
Please let me know if you make any. I would love to see!

The hat are wonderful Melissa! I'm sure the kids will be so incredibly thankful! You are a wonderful lady... that's for sure!
I swear there is no end - NONE - to your creativity! Very cool hats - who wouldn't want one? And fun coasters - of which I wonder can anyone ever have enough of? We have a huge stack - and ONE table to use them on!
How's Emmitt?

Your hats are so cute! I have several hats ready for the 2009 Fall and Winter season that i loomed, using acrylic blends and wool. I LOVE the roll brims because they fit so many different sized heads that way. Roll the brim up and it fits a smaller head,,,down and it covers a larger head! Lola and i can wear the same hat! :)
They are all so cute!! You are so talented and we are so glad that you choose to share them with us!!
LOVE the hats! How cool is that? I would love to make them, but I don't think I have the coorination or patience to knit or crochet.
Melissa, I really love your sun squares...they are absolutely wonderful.
I just answered your question about ETSY over on my blog comments section.
Keep making your beautiful pieces of art.

She's trying to learn to knit - but I keep eating her needles !!! BOL - and she starts with 20 stitches but after an hour she has 38 stitches!!!! Not very talented!!!!
ooooo I am so jealous! I can't knit or crochet... even on a loom!

Oh Melissa
They are very very beautiful- those squares with the sun on them. What a beautiful blanket they would be. And the hats- every one of them- love them. Mom wonders, wonders, wonders if she could ever do that. She wishes she could get addicted to some of the hobbies you do!
