New Painting ~ Portuguese Water Dog

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I am so excited to show you my newest Dog Art Painting ~ The Portuguese Water Dog.

It was so fun to paint all of his curls!

He can be put on any of my products that you can choose the design.

Emmitt invited him to the beach today.

Don't tell Emmitt, but we do not live near a beach and the silly puggy does not float!

Emmitt needs some swimming lessons like his pals Salinger and Hank!

Does your dog like the water?

Please tell us your favorite story about your water adventures!
We cannot wait to hear all about it!

  1. Your mom is just amazing, Emmitt!
So if she dressed you in a tux and plopped a wig on your head, you could be a Portie too!

  7. I have a friend who's a Portuguese Water Dog. He came to my Birthday Party and participated in the Bring Your Dog to Work Day with me.

I LOVE water too! Most of the time Mommy makes me wear this stupid green floaty thing - mainly when we're out in the boat or going specifically to the lake. She says that I start off swimming okay but then my body slowly starts going lower and lower into the water. But if we're just hiking and come across water, I get to run right in! I especially love when I get to take a roadtrip and go to the Montrose Dog Beach in Chicago. Running down the sandy beach with water around my legs is the best!

  9. Hi Melissa & Emmitt! I live near the beach but I don't like the water. Nope. No swimming for me. I don't even like baths. I love to stay nice and stinky so that everywhere can smell me.

That Portuguese Water dog is so cute. He has lots of curls just like Mom!

  13. Hi Melissa
We think the Porteguese Water Dog is awsome. We love all those curls, and I think I would love some curls like that too. They look sooo soft.
I tried to walk on a tide pool at the ocean- and I found out that I cannot walk on water! I was so shocked. I love to run from the waves at the big ocean.
Mommy says, run, run run! And I run!
