I am having so much fun creating my first "Go-Over" sweater for the September Knit-A-Square Charity Challenge.
Here it is so far. I have created the 4 front 10 x 10 squares and one sleeve.
My idea was to create the 4 square panel on the front to be a child in the sun with his/her dog. :)
I also redesigned the original sleeve design to be crocheted in the round instead of the 2 rectangles to be sewn together so that I would avoid having seams on the sides. I think it worked out pretty well. I wrote it all down, so hopefully my second sleeve will match my first.
This could not be any cuter! I love it! Great job, Melissa. I might have to figure out how to crochet a cat onto a square (in my spare time - LOL)!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet Melissa! I love to see what you're working on each day!!
ReplyDeleteMelissa, this is sooooo cute!! What a great design for a sweater. You are an inspiration everyday,

If we wore sweaters we would wear yours! You are sooo talented. Mum can't hold a candle to you, course she's a lefty so crocheting is beyond her. (some days she is just so pathetic).
ReplyDeleteHi Emmit! We missed you while we were on vacation!
