Fiber Art Friday ... A New Pug Doll

I am so excited to announce my new pug art dolls made from my original handcarved pug design.

I created the 100% cotton fabric on an amazing website called spoonflower.com. My friend Brenda Pinnick told me about them and I cannot thank her enough!

Spoonflower.com is a new company that prints your designs on fabric on demand! Their quality, customer service and website are wonderful, exciting and inspiring!

Now absolutely everyone can make their own custom fabric even from family photographs!

I happily cut, sewed and stuffed these dolls and am proud to offer them in my Etsy Shop.

Here are some of the details...

Each doll is approximately 5 x 9 inches. The backing is also cotton fabric in assorted whimsical & colorful patterns chosen by me. The exact design will be a surprise revealed to you when you open your package. :)

So, what do you think of the new dolls? Emmitt and I would love to hear! I am so excited about them that I am off to sew some more.

Happy Friday everyone!

  14. Hi tara
i have gotten a couple of questions on the labels. i just printed them myself on my inkjet printer on cotton fabric paper made for inkjets that i get at michaels. it is the sew on kind but they do make iron on too if you prefer. i use the june tailor brand.

    hi roxy
the fabric on spoonflower is 100% cotton but you will need to visit their site to see what they say about washing it. i think the fabric is made by robert kaufmann so it probably follows the same rules as if you were buying designer fabric by the yard.
