Emmitt and Bogart - The reunion :)

Emmitt

Bogart

Emmitt

Bogart

Bogart came to stay with us last weekend and Emmitt was so excited. They played and talked all weekend!

I think they were comparing menus for their holiday parties. As you can see... Emmitt had a lot to say! LOL

We are going to have a full house of feathered and furry creatures because we get to take care of Melanie and Mark 's corgi and parrotlet and my friend's parrotlet Julio. I will have lots of pictures to show you of our zoo. :)

What do you have planned for the upcoming holidays? Please let us know. We would love to hear! Do you have any favorite recipes?

  1. Emmitt you are so cute I want to eat you up!!!

For the holidays (Christmas) my Mother is coming out to visit. As far as special recipes...my favorite is this cheesy artichoke dip! YUM!!

  2. Emmitt, it must be so fun having a house full of friends! You just couldn't get any cuter!

My momma and daddy are stressing about the holidays a little. They haven't been married all that long, and are still trying to figure out the balancing-act of seeing each of their families! It's harder than they thought it would be!

Mom says her Dad's homemade Pecan Pie is a personal favorite. :)

  7. Is it just me? I think pugs are so hard to tell apart! They are adorable, and I can't imagine adding a bird to the mix - what a fun time you'll have!

  8. Emmitt and Bogart are such a cute pair!

I have a favorite holiday food...it's called "Cope's Corn". You have to order it from the Midwest. It's dried corn and you mix it with milk, eggs, butter and sugar in the blender to make a casserole. It's the best!

  10. I just love this time of the year, everyone seems a little bit more cheerful or at least I am and I'm a pretty happy person.

For Thanksgiving John and I invite our families over for a big and I mean big Thanksgiving lunch, we have my parents and grandfather, his dad and step mom and his sister and her family. We have a very small house, four rooms and one bath. So it's pretty crowded.

  11. You guys are going to have a full house! We can't wait to see and hear all about it!
Our house stays pretty quiet for the holidays and mom doesn't mind it one bit! It's relaxing, she says!

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch

  14. Bogart is cute, but Emmitt has the sweetest face ever! Pugsley shares his house with Chester and Brewski, and everyone seems to get along ok... I think Chester is very jealous of Pugsley, though, because he is the total baby of the family!

I am cooking for Thanksgiving and having my family over and my wonderful BF, Mark :) I'll be making pumpkin pie with fresh pumpkin - oh, it is just so much better than using canned pumpkin! What a happy time of year this is!

  15. lucky you to be surrounded by so many wonderful creatures!
I can't have birds in the house, especially with Sjimmie!
So nice that Emmitt had a fun weekend with Bogart!

  16. EmmyPants and BogartBritches are so cute together. You can tell they get along very well (even in the kitchen!). My fatties are counting off the days until it's time to eat mashed potatoes and other goodies from the Thanksgiving table. First they will enjoy scraps at Gramma's house in East Texas, then they will get to sit under the table when we cook thanksgiving dinner here at home. Can hardly wait!

  17. Mom and dad don't go far for the holidays, so we stay home. Christmas is at our house. Memere brings her Missy (who is rather snobby) but Lucky and I put up with her.

  19. What sweet faces both Emmitt and Bogart have. But you and I both know when two pugs gather, they are coniving more than comparing menus.....lol. What a great time Emmitt must of had with his company.

For Thanksgiving I am have mine, his, and our daughter Naomi for a big dinner. May be a bit crowded at our small table, but I love having everyone together at one time.
