Pendant Collage Class

On Saturday, Melanie and I took a Pendant collage class at the Denver Art Museum. It was so much fun. The class was called Patchwork Pendants and in the two hours time, we made these wonderful pendants and saw the new travelling exhibit, Quilts from Gee's Bend.

Our instructor gave us lots of found objects, buttons, beads, origami paper and I had my business cards with me. Cut and mod podge that all together and you get a Pug Pendant from me and a Moe Dog Pendant from Melanie! I think everyone else's looked more like quilts at the end. Ha!

Here I am.

We have another class to learn netting our own bags at our favorite Boulder Yarn Shop in a couple of weeks. I cannot wait to see what we make!

I've seen that quilt exhibit before in NC - it is just amazing the work that goes into those things. And how much is represented in the patterns and fabrics.....

  7. I think you and your sister are like mom and auntie. You would have so much fun in a paper bag that you don't even need the bag.
Great pendants, that looked like lots of fun.
