Fabulously FUN Fall Flower Pillow ~ New Crochet Fiber Art for R-Chee's Pug Cave

Happy Monday everyone!

R-Chee & I love this time of year!

All of the leaves are orange, yellow and pretty shades of brown as they dry up and blow away off of the trees.

When the wind blows, it looks like a shower of color blowing around with light catching leaves falling all around!

Everyone has their potted mums out that R-Chee loves to sniff and sneeze from every time we walk to the park.

These wonderful sights and smells inspired us to make a Fall Pillow for R-Chee's Pug Cave!

Ta Da!

I finished it while crocheting the afternoon away at Melanie's house.

Her gorgeous African Flower Hexagon afghan is the perfect back drop for my photos!

Thank you Melly for a wonderful day! :)

She just finished another afghan that has like 1 million little granny square centers all crocheted and sewen together!

It took about 10 months to make and I cannot wait to show it too you soon!

My pillow was less of an undertaking as it only took 3 flower squares with some fun borders to connect them all together.

I used my favorite Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick to create this rich effect of vibrant color and texture!

R-Chee and I are so pleased with how it turned out and matches the decor in his Pug Cave. :)

I love to work there in the afternoons crocheting Sweater Vests with a cup of my favorite green tea, a pair of my favorite wool socks warming my toes and R-Chee napping in my lap! :)

Who says a work day cannot be FUN too? :)

What FUN things did you do today?

Did you make a special dinner or go for a walk in the park?

Please leave us a note and let us know!

We cannot wait to hear about all the wonderful things you like to do!
