New Year + Old Granny Squares = A New Scarf!

 Happy Monday everyone!

R-Chee and I are so excited to start 2013 with you!

The first project we have to share this year is this Granny Square Scarf!

It was so FUN to make because I actually made the squares about 8 years ago!

I had them hanging as a wall hanging and recently found a few more that I was previously using as coasters!

I had made them from scraps of Lopi Icelandic Wool Yarn from my yarn stash back then.

When I found the other squares, I thought they would make the perfect warm scarf!

So I sewed them all together, crocheted 2 rows of border around them and added a fun knubby fringe on the bottom edges!

I just LOVE how it turned out and it is nice and warm!

It is so FUN taking something you have enjoyed one way for years and transforming it into something else!

The perfect New Year's Day project don't you think? :)

R-Chee & I have been having FUN preparing a new recipe and NEW Products for you to enjoy!

We are almost ready to unveil them and will show them to you in the coming days!

What FUN things are you up to this week?

Please leave us a note and let us know!

We cannot wait to hear all about it!
